Bacteriology Research Group Seminar
This seminar series is designed to highlight ongoing oral microbiology research in the OHSU School of Dentistry, Portland State University, and University of Oregon. Leading oral microbiologists from across the nation are also periodically included as invited speakers. I have coordinated this series since April 2020 - present with an average attendance of 26 researchers/faculty/staff.
D1 Oral Microbiology Immunology Laboratory (D1145)
This course is a required component of the Oral Microbiology and Immunology course for freshman dental students (D1145). I was responsible for laboratory lecture, grading lab reports and exam questions.
Intro to Microorganism Laboratory (BY 261-L)
This course is the required laboratory component of the Introduction to Microorganisms (BY261). Although the Biology department provided the course content and structure, I was responsible for creating corresponding lectures, quizzes, projects and exams. This was my first teaching assignment and I found it very exciting and educational.
